In 1999 Frank Belatti (’69) dedicated the 100th Habitat for Humanity house sponsored by his company, AFC Enterprises, to his friend and business partner, Hank Aaron. It was situated near Turner Field, home of the Atlanta Braves, for whom Aaron played. The Notre Dame alum also became friends with the homeowner – Lucy Okonokhua Jackson, a single mother from Nigeria – and her five children. Through his encouragement and financial support, all five Jackson children have now graduated from or are attending Notre Dame. This video by Notre Dame tells their story:
